Supervisory Electronics Engineer (Deputy Division Chief)

Serves as the Deputy to the Division Chief. Knowledge of day-to-day supervisory functions including the establishment of performance standards, the review of work performance, and the initiation of actions for promotions, reassignments, disciplinary measures, and awards. Uses engineering expertise to plan, direct and supervise the conduct of equipment authorization related activities of the Division, including establishing goals and objectives for these activities. Reviews documents for regulatory sufficiency, technical accuracy and policy implications. Examines proposals for new or changed rules and regulations and recommends and defends Division and/or Office positions. Provides advice on policy and rules related to equipment authorization and compliance issues, technical and engineering standards concerning Parts 2, 15 and 18 of the Commission's rules. Advises and assists staff on preparing and drafting Division's KDB guidance publications, technical reports and procedures, technical rules for new and novel radiofrequency equipment, rule interpretations and stakeholder presentations. Researches technical standards, technology developments test procedures, and regulations. Plans, directs and supervises the conduct of special and highly complex projects of major technological issues with policy and regulatory significance. Works on projects for which there is little in the way of existing precedent; for which existing precedent is not clearly analogous; or that involve numerous disputes among different parties and government agencies that have arisen within multiple dockets over a long period of time. Directs and evaluates the work of the Division as delegated by the Chief. Manages Lab responsibilities relating to OET Continuity of Operations preparation and events. Experience:
For this position, applicants must have a minimum of one year of specialized experience equivalent to next lower grade level in the Federal service performing the following tasks:
Experience overseeing, directing, supervising or managing a subordinate staff; Planning and administering highly composite projects and proceedings of major policy and technical significance related to new spectrum uses, interference analyses and equipment measurement and authorization related issues; Experience providing technical expertise on radio frequency emission, exposure and hearing aid compliance measurement procedures and policies Writing and directing others in writing detailed and complex technical reports and procedures for equipment authorization, interpretations of technical rules and standards, and drafting technical rules for new and novel radiofrequency devices and equipment; Representing the organization in high-level meetings or conferences; Providing guidance and advice to management regarding engineering and regulatory issues. Experience:
Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
