Caregiver
We are looking for a competent Caregiver to care for our senior residents in the assisted living in a professional and compassionate manner.
Its an often demanding job, but it can also be very satisfying and rewarding, since people who are disabled or elderly are thankful for high quality assistance.
The ideal candidate will be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills.
You should be able to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks to help clients.
ResponsibilitiesHelp clients take prescribed medicationAssist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outsideAssist clients with personal care and hygieneHelp clients with physical therapy exercisesPerform light housekeeping dutiesBe a pleasant and supportive companionReport any unusual incidentsAct quickly and responsibly in cases of emergencySkillsProven experience as a caregiverExcellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)Knowledge of housekeeping activitiesWillingness to adhere to health and safety standardsRespectful and compassionateGood time management skillsOutstanding communication and interpersonal skillsStrong ethicsPhysical enduranceHigh school diploma or equivalentJob Type:
